The walk

If you have ever been on a walk in the woods at sunset, you’ll know how this moment feels. If not, this is a close look at that very scenario. Here the view is definitely from a hiker’s perspective. The glow of the sun playing with the reflections on the water to the pink hues in the clouds floating along right above the mountain tops. This is a beautiful rendering of that moment for everyone to enjoy.

It’s quite the view

I sought out this tutorial; by Bob Ross because of the use of color. I did not replicate exactly his work, but the colors are a good match. It is always difficult to keep up with him as he moves so fast through his paintings, but I think I did a great job of it here.

Intimate moment

There are all sorts of paintings in the world, but few can stop a viewer and hear them say, “That is a really nice painting”. Well, I have heard that said about this one. It works well in glowing light or soft lighting. Unless of course you want to make a statement and your room is yellow, then I would recommend high lighting this painting. Either way, this is a show stopper of a piece and you can enjoy it more when you own it.
