Here is an example

I would like to introduce you to a piece I started to scratch a want of mine, to mimic the piece Man about town. I used the same technique. I want the colors to move like they were alive. Here is a great example of that concept coming to life; because of the colors used and the technique of just small bits of paint in pointillism fashion across the canvas. It is alive for it’s viewer. Movement through the use of color and style.

The technique

It takes some time to produce a piece of this nature. Each section has been passed by several times by several different colors. Each stroke on the canvas is a turn of the motor of this visual machine. I tried to stay true to the colors associated with a sunset at sea. That is the main concept behind this piece, its resemblance to a sunset is not by mistake. I wanted to have a subject matter that was usually very sedate and dramatic. A sunset fits this description quite well. Here was my chance to use something that was as subtle as a sunset yet as dramatic as a sunset.

Light is where color lives

Anyone looking to invest into abstract art and pointillism in particular should look into this piece. This would fit well in a room that was either primarily blue or orange. Even a room using gold or silver. All can be tied together with this piece of artwork. Its a versatile art piece that adds movement into any room.
