A Golden Skyline

Here is the moment

The scene is set at that moment you look up and see the trees silhouetted by the bright golden sky. As the clouds dance to the bright sunsetting with golden hues orange and yellow. With peek a boo spots where the blue sky comes peeking through. This is that scene. Captured for your enjoyment. That moment where the clouds are just right and the trees are being quieted down with the light waning. Here it is all set.

A stretch of the brush

I enjoy looking at silhouettes, they inspire me, especially with something exciting happening in the background. Here it is the best of both worlds in one piece. The variation of trees in silhouette and the dancing of the clouds over and behind. All of it was a major practice for me and my brushes. I love blurry pictures of twilight and wanted this to mimic that fall. I used fan brushes as well as rounds. I used my traditional cloud maker and a fan brush to make the clouds.

In the right room

Powder blue and yellow too. This would be a nice touch to add to any softer room. If your room has classical lines and black, this would also work. It has a nice blend of complimentary colors already. Would make a nice addition to any home. Picking any color from the painting and using it in a room as an accent would not be a bad idea either. It’s a very fun piece to mix and match with.
