Traditional forests are green
The very fact that traditional forests are green is why I went with every untraditional color for trees I could think of, Pink, yellow, purple, and orange. I just didn’t want them to look like fall colors. I wanted to create, as my wife calls it, a candy forest. Here you see the trees in a whole new light. One of sweet tones and bright colors. Gumdrops if you would. The mountain could be chocolate. It’s up to the viewer. You.
Bright and complicated
The general idea is to make a viewer see the picture as if they were standing right in front of the thing. In most of my cases, that is landscapes. I wanted to have fun with this one. I followed no one and did this piece conceptually. It is all from my head. The difficulties were in the shadows. I got the hang of it after a while, but it was hard to match the shadows. From the golden clouds to the tan mountain much of it stayed traditional; Like the blue of the water. I wanted to have the trees believed. I wanted you to visualize them in a setting that matched the idea of a tree. Yet, these trees are the most unbelievably colorful trees I have ever seen.
Colorfully perfect
As you notice the odds and ends about this painting, the one thing sticks out about it is the color. It’s vibrant and very noticeable. I love that fact. This is ready for an equally bright room, or a room that needs some brightening. Either way, this painting has that extra splash of color every room needs. It is fluffed with vibrant pinks and yellows that bring the energy up as you view it. Just an all around great investment for any interior
